The sun play

occ15a.jpg

As I said before, one of the most interesting things to keep your eyes and mind open is for the play of the light.

We were moving in and out of the shade frequently. There were plenty of moments when we could just start palpitating in our hearts as we looked ahead and found the welcoming warm kisses of the sun awaiting our emergence from the deep dark woods.

It is actually damp inside the woods.

You would be better off having a few layers on your body. There is not much wind, but the cliffs can cast long shadow and then as the day wanes into dusk, there might be more chill than you would have anticipated.

It is at such times, when you are filling the nipply air biting your earlobes and nose tips that you will appreciate the snuggling touches of the sun--like a lover waiting with open arms. You will love the first touch that greets you in that blinding light and the teasing heat. Just don't get carried away! :-)
