Most of us went on the round-the-lake hike on an easy trail--the youngest being a 7-year-old girl. Half way through, on the north shore of the lake we stopped to introduce everyone to the "priceless" joys of skipping stones on the water surface. That fun took about twenty minutes of our time. I set a new record on skipping since the pebbles were pretty conducive to that sport, which I had mastered in my hometown river in Nepal. Next time I go there, I will top the 15 skips. It was so fast that we had to capture it in slow-mo, imaginatively of course. People who had never had that thrill also participated so enthusiastically that we all forgot that we were supposed to be hiking.
